Children’s Ministry
Legacy Christian Church’s children’s ministries exist to teach children and their familes to love God, his son Jesus Christ, the Bible, one another, and him/herself by providing a safe, loving learning environment that will help them to grow spiritually, socially, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Kindergarten – Fifth Grade
Wednesday Night
Our Wednesday night activities for elementary grades are from 6:30 through 8:00 p.m. Students fellowhsip together by playing games for a half hour, followed by an hour of Bible study.
Sunday Morning
Our children’s Bible fellowships are from 9:00–10:00 a.m. Kindergarteners through second grade meet in classroom 3 while third through fifth grades meet in room 2.
From 10:00–10:30 a.m. children attend the breakfast fellowship in the fellowship hall with their parents.
Children’s church meets from 10:30–11:30 a.m. Currently we are using the KidMo! series, which provides children with an upbeat and exciting time of worship, games, small group discussion, and story.
Nursery – Pre-Kindergarten
Wednesday Night
Childcare is provided from 6:30–8:00 p.m. in the nursery.
Sunday Morning
The nursery is available for babies, toddlers, and two-year-olds from 9:00–11:30 a.m. Contact Rhena Oplinger for more information.
Three year olds through pre-kindergarteners have their children’s Bible fellowship from 9:00–10:00 a.m. in room 4. From 10:00–10:30 a.m. children are encouraged to stay in their classroom while the parents fellowship. Sunday school is extended for our preschoolers from 10:30–11:30 a.m.
Volunteer Opportunities
CAs you all know Miss Katie is leaving this summer to go home. Currently lots of positions need filled. We are always looking for people who love kids and the Lord to serve him by teaching our adorable children!
